We're a small neighborhood bar & high-fidelity listening lounge.

Our cozy space is home to a large collection of vinyl records, played on a high-end sound system in an acoustically treated room, always at a polite volume. A Japanese kissa-inspired, low-key, music-forward space, curated by a rotating crew of experienced DJs and record collectors.

We offer local craft beer on tap, local cider, not-local sake, and around a hundred wines — including natural wine — with a light food menu of tinned fish, stuffed grape leaves, and a few salty snacks. Bottles of wine are also available to go, at retail pricing.

Here's our origin story. Welcome.

Please Note

  • We are a bar. Must be 21 or over.
  • We really are a small, low-capacity space.
  • Because we're small, it's often hard to accommodate groups of 5+.
  • If you're willing to split up into smaller groups, and/or make new friends if there's extra space at your table, we will love you forever.

Jan's Soundsystem

Our audio system is a restomod design by Cafe Sound (aka Cathode Bias) a boutique firm in Space Coast, FL focused on fusing vintage and modern concepts into unique sound systems. This set up combines both old and new audio concepts to create a unique system with vintage aesthetics and modern performance.

The system consists of:

  • Four 1950s-60s vintage Altec 811 horns and 806/808 drivers, used in both commercial and home systems of the time
  • Four modern 15" mid-woofers made in Italy by Faital
  • Four custom mid-woofer cabinets made from Baltic Birch with a design inspired by vintage JBL theater systems
  • Two 18" carbon fiber woofers in sealed cabinets with response to 30hz
  • Ten channels of DSP-managed amplification

Technical details:

  • System response is approximately 30hz to 18khz +/- 3db
  • Crossover points are 80hz and 1200hz
  • Horn equalization includes:
    • -9db overall attenuation
    • 2khz -6db notch filter (corrects for frequency response peak in mid-range)
    • +6db eq gain at 16khz (corrects for horn frequency drop above 8khz)
